Rainy Day

A  rainy day allows a few maintenance items to be addressed. Points sweetened, oil level checked and a sprint around a couple of blocks to warm the moto’s blood and blow out a few cobwebs.  The throttle gives a firm grunt, brakes snap-to and movement both straight and cornering is supple. Hopefully another bright autumn day on roads yet lies ahead this year…

  1. Handsome old thing ain’t it..?
Not a bit as ‘pretty’ as the 68 – 70 models.. surely the most gorgeous brit roadbikes back in the day.. but, for me a VERY handsome beast. This will be OIF.. is it 650 or 750 ? And.. have you tried /would you buy.. a Hinckley Bonnie..?
Not for me, I have to say, they never had the lines nor the beauty of the original, the UK press is generally pretty scathing about the weight, the poor performance.. not much GO and a bit too wobbly when pushed.. it says here.! Tho’ they do sell plenty.. what can I say..?
