Perhaps my next project? A flat track Tiger Cub. Light the blue touch paper and stand well back…
Just need an oval of dirt and tip ‘er sideways.

Hey Geordie. Found this 2011 post on a “new” Tiger Cub http://www.tiger800.co.uk/index.php/topic,2501.msg32488.html#msg32488
Did it ever eventuate do you know? Cheers, Les
“….There are stronger and stronger rumours in the UK and German dealer network of a single cylinder Triumph, either 350cc or 500cc (or perhaps both, depending on the market). It is air/oil cooled, like the Bonnie and will be released in 2 or 3 forms:
1.Road / Commuter version
2.Super Moto form
3.Trals/off road form
In Germany there have been stories it will appear at this years bike show. It will be made only in Thailand and priced to compete with the Japanese small capacity bikes. In Europe it will be tuned to produce 32.9bhp, to meet the new biker law. One comment is that it will weigh in at about 140kg wet, so will be quite nippy.
The Trials/off road form will be the Tiger Cub.
I’m putting a £100 deposit down on the Tiger Cub….
I’ve heard of these ‘strong’ rumours and hope this is a new branch of Triumph predomination of the World. It opens up a whole new aspect of riders for them… New riders, inner city commuters, and the rest of us who would like to see a baby Trumpet on the roads/track/trails again.
