“Prince of Darkness” Ozzy Osborne passed away today. Great photo of him flying across a field on a dirt bike. RIP 1948-2025 Black Sabbath were truly the foundation of Heavy Metal in the early seventies.

Yes Dave, I was a huge fan of Ozzie and Black Sabbath from abt age 18. Have a lovely memory of my Dad walking into the room and I had Sabbath on fairly loud [as usual] I don’t recall the song but was probably Paranoid which despite initially being a last minute ‘filler’ song to complete the album is a firm favourite. Dad often commented [sometimes even favourably] on my musical tastes but this time he just shook his head and walked out.. 🙂
