Moody Moto

– Urban peril in the form of a repurposed Tiger parked in an Eastend industrial yard under a gloomy sky. Jerry can strapped to the tank and bug-eye headlights create the appearance of an ‘every-day-carry’ tool.
The Hamster

Top Gear
– TV motoring host Richard Hammond is enjoying the Malvern Hills scenery using a sky blue classic Triumph.
Full of Beans

– triple beast from the Venetian province. 90hp giving a near 150mph performance which is plenty of Vitamin C from the citrus rocket.
The Wall

How can you
have any pudding if you don’t eat yer meat?”
We don’t need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it’s just another brick in the wall.
All in all you’re just another brick in the wall.
The Duke

Prince Philip Windsor-Mountbatten 1921-2021
– mini bike madness across Sandringham astride a red monkey called Easy Rider. Not quite Wyatt on his Stars ‘n’ Strioed tank’d Captain America but a fun bag of festivity nonetheless.
Canis lupus

– another gorgeous pencil sketch from the able hand of Benedicte Waryn; who carried out the chopper riding hare earlier this week.
Lepus ssp.

– lovely pencil illustration by artist Benedicte Waryn of a pre-unit Triumph chopper with a “hare-brained” owner. So much to like about the detailed drawing: from the clothing; to the custom bike; and the lush fur of the hare’s head.
White Rabbits

– a splendid ride to the Wisconsin State Line in unseasonably warm weather on this Easter Sunday. Clear skies with temperatures in the upper sixties had us ride through the budding trees and scrub lacing Lake County’s gentle landscape. The occasional whiff of scorched vegetation from controlled prairie burning drifted across the roadway. Overhead buzzards circled across the scrubby farm fields. The oil change carried out the day before had the smooth triple engine running extra silky.
A Verdant Workshop

– another photo of Ewan and his favorite marque. This is a caféd Moto Guzzi Nuovo Falcone. The famous bacon slicer flywheel obvious on the drive side. The green color scheme of the workshop furniture even matches the fuel tank.
Half a C

– Jedi Knight and heroin addict Ewan McGregor is 50 today. Here’s an old photo of him as an aspiring actor living in Primrose Hill in the early nineties. His first bike for hoofing around the Big Smoke was a T3 Moto Guzzi dressed up to look like a Le Mans.
Can’t miss me…

– someone has done a plasti-coat treatment to their gas tank. In invigorating yellow like a highlighter pen. the other road users will certainly see you!
New Horizons

– like this fella parked with his white Tiger on a Kentucky overlook we need to look out to distant possibilities to broaden our experiences.
It’s getting to be the time of year to start thinking of destinations, and hence experiences, further afield.
Fast Bloke

– Top rated TT racer from the Merseyside region, Geoff had multiple wins road racing in the mid C20th. Here’s a photo at the ‘52 Assen GP where he took victory on this 350 Norton featherbed machine. Geoff would have been 98 today.
