Vanishing Point

Canny weather the day.

A promise of temperatures in the sixties had the two new Triumphs out and about. I played with the helmet camera too to memorialize Deans first proper outing on the Street Scrambler. A fine looking machine there! Clocks changed this weekend and spring is truly around the corner.

Supporting Role

Center Stand

– I installed a component that should have been factory standard. But I got it for a deal and bolted it on mysen. Easier said than done that’s for sure… the access to some of the fasteners was colored by choice cursing.

Goldstar

Men’s clothier Drake’s used Japanese artist Akita Sorimachi to create a number of illustrations for their advertising. Graveyard Shift

Orbital Muscle

Rocketship

The new Triumph Rocket Three is a behemoth in person. And, it looks the part if escape velocity is your goal. 2 1/2 liters of beastly engine will propel this speed demon through the stratosphere. Chuck Yeager would be proud!

Way-Wah

My Sweet Lord

George Harrison would have been 77 today. His music was more thoughtful especially his opus-like triple album All Things Must Pass. He also supported the arts as a movie producer and had an interest in racing, both Formula One and Motorcycle Grand Prix. Here he is with Barry Sheen #7 at some racetrack. Barry is wearing a non-flammable racing outfit rather than his usual leathers so must be getting in a four wheeled racer.

Blue Sky Thinking

Sign o’ the Times

Clear heavens over the Woodstock dealership at the weekend. Though there was snow piled in the edges of the parking lot the temperatures rose to the mid fifties; very unseasonably mild.
