Keeping on the theme of Radio Flyer here’s a custom v-twin in resplendent red enamel and white forks paying homage to every American boys first ‘vehicle’.
A lot of work goes into these special builds and in this case it certainly shows. Long straight roads, SoCal sun and a twist of the wrist & off you go!
Bobber Gal: early days for a biker lass’ freedom. Headscarf keeps the hair in check when scooting along, leather jacket, denim. This 40’s Speed Twin with gently swept back ape bars a suitable steed for the day.
Bob-a-Job: a worried looking Sponge Bob protects this lass’ noggin from a few bumpy lanes when cavorting along on this modified Troompitt. It’s been bobbed in genuine fashion but with a dirt twist. nb. a ‘bob’ is a shilling : 12d [old pence] ~ 5p [new pence]. This was ‘earned’ for the cub-scouts doing odd jobs around the neighbourhood during “bob-a-job week” (or around the doors). The rev-counter is mounted in an interesting manner.
Oor pal Ewan gan oot oan his Trumpit six-fifty. Keepin’ waam wi’ his donkey jacket and spit ‘n’ polished bike he’s ready fer a wee scoot aboot toon.
