– some Triumph Bonneville owner taking his steed over a wintry mountain pass. We’re heading into minus degrees Fahrenheit windchills for the next few days so a balmy alpine col wouldn’t be too bad…
– with a soft sonorous voice, actor John Le Mesurier played all rolls in a carefree effortless manner. His most noted part was that of Sgt. Arthur Wilson in the 70’s BBC comedy Dad’s Army. The ideal foil against Arthur Lowe’s pompous and blustering Captain Mainwaring.

British Hero
– popularly known as Captain Tom, was a British Army officer and centenarian, known for his achievements raising $45 million for charity in the run-up to his 100th birthday during the COVID-19 pandemic by walking 100 laps around his garden. He passed away today from COVID-19, complicated by pneumonia. He had surely made it clear that you’re never to old to make a difference.
Ski-Doo
– found on the InterWeb here is a forlorn machine hiding in the dusty background of a barn. It looks like something used to effect in a James Bond film during a ski chase scene. The bullet nose is inspired!
– heavily insulated Russian biker is aptly garbed to rip across an iced-up lake . Spike clad tires will maintain traction to put down the tremendous torque offered by the big 2400cc Triumph Rocket engine.
