Forty Two years ago the first big storyline for Joe Dredd saw him head into the nuclear devastation from Mega City’s One to Two to deliver a vaccine for a viral infection 2T(fru)T ~ tutti-fruiti. Riding Mk2 Lawmasters ; biker Spikes Harvey Rotten and JD were accompanied with the real life Land Raider (a toy in the Matchbox Adventure 2000 range). Honda’s racing vee twin was team Red’s attempt to show Ducati how to beat ‘em at their own game in the Superbike World Championship. Of course a cat on board adds further coolness to the proceedings.

Late November before the forecast snow flies and I take the Kit out for a speedy 50 miler. the 2 mile stretch past this Lake Bluff destination just before you reach the Great Lakes Naval Station is a nice run past open fields and wooded copses.
– with the Southern Hemisphere heading into the warmer season they’ll be enjoying outdoor events sooner. The Kiwi’s have been undertaking controlled measures with COVID-19 so I’m sure there will be distancing and mask wearing protocol.
