Café Rocket Goldstar from BSA. Sitting pretty in the sunny forecourt of the famous Ace Café on the North Circular NW10. I know these bikes to the nut and bolt having restored one and think they’re a marvelous piece of road kit.

The “Goldie gal” is in fact Darcy Bussell.. until the past year or two, the lead ballerina with the Royal Ballet in London.
She has since retired and taken up a position as a truly glam’ and much loved judge on the autumn BBC tv show.. “Strictly come dancing”.. which I rather think is called “Dancing with the stars” in the american tv production.
Phew..
Gawd knows what she was doing there.?

Well then. Not just a shapely lass! But a dancer too. Those platform shoes are nothing for her after decades of ballerina points.
