Three and a Half – further to yesterday’s posting with the LE to JO’G race here is some illustration, literature imagery and motorcycle photography of the Triumph used in the run. It’s now considered an antique at over a Century old but some collectors still ride them with passion.

  1. Hey GB. Yes Arthur’s 89yo and I don’t for a moment consider him an antique…. Sure, sometimes he can be a GOM (Grumpy Old Man) like last weekend when he simply refused top start. Note, on reflection long after I had cooled down I think I had the wrong plug in as it was quite cold at 7:00am and in frustration I also then tickled the carby too much…As everyone with Brit bikes knows that’s the death knell for starting anytime soon after…. Once running however and zipping around some twisty bits he’s an animated joy to ride and still lots of fun. Cheers, Les
