Good Vibrations

Beach Boy

One of the great writers of 60’s music, Brian Wilson, passed away today at the age of 82. As the US’s counter to the Beatles the founder and leader of the Californian band wrote the soundtrack of an age, State of mind and country. He had troubles but was a true gifted creative artist. Legacy tunes for sure which are great played on a sunny day whilst cruising along the highways. Ideally with the Pacific accompanying you. RIP 1942-2025

  1. Hi Dave. I just shared your Geordibiker blog address to a fellow member of my local VCC chapter. He used to build the local version of the Lotus 7 as a ‘Fraser’ [he’s Neil Fraser]. He has a Mk 1 Lotus Cortina, the genuine article and he was very kind when I was between houses, & loaned me free use of his storage space for my Muzzy. Found out by chance last week he’s also big into old bikes, so I’ve sent him my [hi]story of Arthur. Just had to tidy workspace undwr my new home, and had to move Arthur, so I kicked him over for a engine run. I’ll send you a vid. Hope you & Marin are well. Getting cold here now, shortest day of year in just 4 weeks.! Cheers, Les
