Enjoying the commute. My company has parking in a nearby ramp which is very convenient to take the Tiger down LSD (aka Jean Baptiste Point du Sable Lake Shore Drive). I came home via the Adler Planetarium promontory, which offers a marvelous view back to the City.


Anyone who worked on their 60’s and 70’s Triumph motorcycles surely used the clear wisdom of Lunmad. His Yorkshire accent narrating the home videos expertly edited sharing his knowledge of keeping these aged machines on the road in simpler fashion. Sadly he passed away last Thursday and is a loss to the vintage motorcycle community.

A pair of Beemer adventure bikes were parked next to my car. always like the black and yellow color scheme that is reminiscent of the original air cooler R90 GS from the late eighties.

Driving past Elmer’s Watersport I saw the owner, Myron Siciak’s Harley parked out front. I used to be a dive instructor at this ‘shop. Many moons ago.

. And a spot of rain is called for. The extreme heat in the UK and Europe need the cooling effects of inclement weather. Having learned to ride in the rain I’m not shy to get out in the wet. You just need a little extra care on the corners or freshly rained upon roads. This motorcycle covered and parked in the City is ready for action dry or wet.
