Love is the sweetest thing What else on earth could ever bring Such happiness to ev’rything As Love’s old story.
Love is the greatest thing The oldest yet, the latest thing I only hope that fate may bring Love’s story to you.

– excellent decoration on one of my favorite puddin’s. Braap!

– Someone has an adept hand with the HB pencil when it comes to visual acuity in this sunlike recreation of a Speed Triple. Intricately detailed like one of the engineering illustrations of the fifties that were created in the large draughting rooms of the factories.

– these were the giant killers that took on the world Motorcycle Grand Prix races of the early seventies.

– top of the line explorer from Triumph. 2023 model 1200cc Tiger Rally. RTW tool.

– Big Milestone for Triumph Motorcycles: they reached the one millionth bike. The notable model is a one-off Tiger. this is over the 30 years since the relaunch of the marque in 1990.

– we caught up with the 10th season of The Walking Dead. The final episode tells the past history of the villainous antagonist Negan Smith and his wife Lucille. Early days of the zombie apocalypse only hints at his tyrannical dictatorship of the Saviors. His weapon of choice, a barbed wire headed baseball bat, gets named after Lucille. Negan is seen wearing a motorcycle tshirt, and his signature leather biker jacket is introduced.

– I remember when Triumph launched their T594 Daytona and sibling T509. In 1997 the design was leaps ahead of other bikes of the time. This custom has a post apocalyptic vibe, ready for an overgrown highway.

– Keanu wishes us all a great weekend. Especially from the saddle of a Norton Commando.

– spied on Lake Shore Drive on my way into work today. A well used V-Strom carrying its owner into the City. The decal clad top box says this rider means business in urban traffic.

– just picked up a pair of Continental TKC80’s. Give the underfoot grip a bit more bite on gravel roads. Looking the part!

– “It’s the ride of life the journey from here to there living and loving every moment like we have none to spare.” Jess “Chief” Brynjulson

We’re getting back to some degree of normalcy here. I finally got to take the Tiger for a spin. Chilly weather under clear blue skies called for the the full heated gear and head to toe GoreTex outfit. Kept fairly cosy in the 39°F air temperatures. I ventured along a few of the usual gravelly backroads for a quiet section of travel. A few trail side ponds were skinned with a thin sheet of ice. Oak trees grab skyward with their sculptural skeletal form.
