   Buongiorno..
   Might I, dare I suggest this may be TR6.. his preferred weapon of choice. From here it is but a short step to preparation for desert racing etc., and that may well be what’s going on here.? Hertz rent-a-trucks and tough looking, mechanicky looking dudes everywhere..
   It makes a wonderful period photo does it not. He was a very handsome man, a super looking guy really and there he sits on what was the most beautiful production motorcycle in the world, at the time. The bike here is so graceful and poised, it makes the modern T’twin look like the boat anchor it really is.! The current one weighs 50kg more than the original!! In english money that’s over 100ib, which is dreadful really.. almost a third the weight of the original.! Makes you think.?
   I don’t know what you think, but to me, this picture says everything ever about motorcycles. A picture is worth a thousand words etc, and this one is sooooo good.. it would make a great Athena poster.. don’t you think.? Or was it already.?
   Beautiful portrait.. and it would have been a cast for my my bedroom wall, even at my age.
