Sadly one of the original action women of the silver screen died today. Honor Blackman who, in my opinion, is the definitive Bond girl. She played opposite Sean Connery in Goldfinger with perfect grace and grit. She started a life on two wheels as a dispatch rider during WW2 in London. She was 94.
– We just finished watching season nine of The Walking Dead. The bad guy you love to hate, Negan, played with a constant Cheshire Cat grin by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is here seen sitting on Daryl’s first Triumph engined chopper from the show.

Friday night was typically late night horror films on my 6” B&W TV. Under the bed sheets with a mono headphone I’d watch such classics as Dracula or the Wolfman. here our Friday lady on a bobbed classic Triumph in a graveyard… in monochrome.
“Right Turn Clyde” – a lazy Saturday afternoon film from the late seventies: Any which way but loose. A Clint Eastwood adventure about as deep as a dried up creek. The Black Widows biker gang haul around on a variety of choppers including a long legged Triumph ridden by horned Dallas.
He’s Spartacus! One of the legends from the golden age of movies, Kirk Douglas, died today at the grand age of 103. His memorable roles were always played with gusto and energy. My favorite film of his growing up was The Vikings.
Filming the Impossible | back in the day trying to capture the thrills of the road one had to mount considerable weighty cameras to yer bounce. Here’s Graham Hill and Steve McQueen loaded up with the old analogue contraptions that ran old school film stock. Now we have miniature lightweight high definition cameras to accomplish this. So I bought myself a new toy…
