Rough Roads Only

– Orange club. Vitamin C. Red ‘n’ Yellow. The perfect color against the grey oily engine and black frame.
LSD

– cruising down Chicago’s lakefront from Hollywood to the Gold Coast. This is my new commute.
Rocket Man

– British Astronaut Tim Peake was loaned an Apollo-like Triumph Rocket Three which he immediately took for an orbit of the English countryside. NASA, one of your spacecraft is missing!
Tiger Cub

– this is like the crazy half hour in our house at about 10.30pm. The two cats tear around the house chasing each other like crazy dervishes.
Teddy Bear

– Bear Grylls also tames Tigers. today is his 47th birthday.
Day of Days

June 6th 1944
– a pivotal moment of the Twentieth Century when the Free World decided to take back what had been overthrown by the Nazis. Here’s a fresh faced army courier strapped into a Horsa glider, with his Matchless ride, bound for Normandy.
Lake Forest Coke stop.

– a hot day pushed today’s ride into the evening when cooler temperatures would give more comfortable conditions.
Pencil Doodle

Graffiti

– the new Triumph Trident has arrived in Chicago and have already sold out at Motoworks. I haven’t seen one in person yet, but will no doubt see one darting around the urban environment.
Long Sight

– another couple of images from yesterday’s trip. Following the tracks gets interrupted by the occasional train. Either a freight or the South Shore Line.
Red Arrow Highway

– clear and cool air followed us along the shore to Michigan. Fairly quiet roads through Lansing, Gary, New Buffalo. Brunch of pancakes, eggs ‘n’ sausage washed down with delicious coffee at Three Oaks.
